About Kyle

Kyle earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UNR, but soon found that being a stay-at-home mom was where she wanted to be. She and her husband would eventually buy a business that allowed Kyle to work the books from home while caring for her three young sons. She soon found a love for teaching while home schooling her own children for many years. Heading back to UNR for an education degree seemed like the obvious next step, but due to parenting demands, that credential was never realized. Instead, Kyle had an opportunity to enroll her middle and high school-aged children into Excel Christian School, where she would end up teaching pre-algebra for many years. According to Kyle: "There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a young person catch onto a math concept and then run with it. Math is kind of tricky because you have to know basic arithmetic before you can advance. I’d love to help your middle school child work on their math skills to not only gain confidence but to discover that math isn't so bad after all."
